As most readers know, I am a Construction Attorney. I was drawn to this area of the law, not because I love to read 100+ page contracts, but by the people. I am consistently impressed with my clients’ dedication to their craft, their integrity in working through difficulties, and their desire to leave the project, and the world, better than they found it. Throughout my days, in dealing with the paper end of a construction project I often lose sight of the hard physical work it takes to get a project completed. Mr. Borden’s poem, Ditch Diggers, certainly reminded me of both how hard construction projects can be, and of the wonderful people I have the pleasure to work with every day.

Happy Thanksgiving and Thank You for all that you do.
