Qualified candidates will have at least three years of legal secretarial experience working in litigation. Other requirements include:

Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP (LDM)  is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our growing West Des Moines location. Interested candidates must have a paralegal certificate, bachelor’s degree or completed formal education in the legal field.  Salary range is $60k-70k.

  • Experience in personal injury or medical malpractice is preferred.

About the Position / Key Responsibilities

This position will handle a variety of cases including, professional negligence defense, insurance disputes, personal injury, and many other areas. The ideal candidate should have:

  • An ideal candidate would have one year of litigation experience, preferably with experience in insurance defense or general civil litigation.
  • Experience in legal research and writing, conducting depositions, managing cases, and meeting deadlines.
  • A competitive candidate would also have experience as a first or second chair in civil jury trials.

Candidates with less litigation experience will be considered depending on qualifications.
