Diana Vazquez Ayala

Diana Vazquez Ayala is an associate litigation attorney with Lamson Dugan & Murray’s West Des Moines office.

Diana is originally from southern California and received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine. Diana graduated from Drake University Law School in 2023. While in law school, she was the president of the Drake Health Law Society, the secretary of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Drake Moot Court Board, and clerked for Roxanne Conlin & Associates. Throughout law school, she competed in the national mock trial competition of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and upon graduation was selected by her law school to form part of The Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization which provides national recognition to individuals who have excelled in advocacy. Diana also received the 2022 Mike Eidson Law Student Scholarship, a national scholarship awarded by the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus of the American Association for Justice, the scholarship is awarded to a female law student who demonstrated a commitment to a career as a trial lawyer, along with a dedication to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution, and the concept of a fair trial and the adversary system. Diana was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Pretrial Advocacy; this award is given to the highest scoring student in each law school course.

In her free time, Diana enjoys spending time with her loved ones and friends and cooking.
