Georgia R. Rice

Georgia Rice is an associate litigation attorney in Lamson Dugan & Murray’s West Des Moines office. Georgia grew up in Iowa and graduated from Johnston High School in 2015. After graduating from the University of Iowa with highest distinction in Psychology and Ethics and Public Policy, Georgia graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2022 with honors. She was selected as a student writer and Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Corporation Law. During law school, Georgia interned with Nebraska Legal Aid and an insurance company.

Most recently, Georgia was a law clerk for Justice David May of the Iowa Supreme Court during the 2022-23 term. As a law clerk, she drafted opinions and conducted research memorandum on criminal, civil, and attorney disciplinary issues.

In her free time, Georgia enjoys reading, baking, and playing tennis.
