Olivia R. McDowell

Olivia McDowell is an associate attorney in Lamson Dugan & Murray’s litigation department. Olivia graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in May 2022. During law school, Olivia was actively involved in Creighton’s Moot Court Competition, serving as both Vice President of Problem Direction, where she crafted the factual and legal basis for the problem briefed and argued by students, and Vice President of Public Relations. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Constitutional Law I, Contracts II, First Amendment Rights, and Comprehensive Review. This award is given to the highest scoring student in each law school class. As a senior-certified law student in the state of Nebraska, Olivia successfully argued a motion for summary judgment in a medical malpractice action under the supervision of LDM Attorney Mark Novotny. Olivia received her B.S. in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish, summa cum laude, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2019.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and her spoiled goldendoodle, Brooks.
