Spencer J. Mitchell

Spencer Mitchell is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department, providing representation in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, products liability, and construction claims.
Spencer received his law degree with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Law in 2023, where he volunteered with the Tenant Assistance Project. As a Senior Certified Law Student with the Housing Justice Clinic, Spencer represented low-income residents facing eviction in the Lancaster County Court, obtaining a number of favorable dismissals and settlements for his clients. Spencer was recognized by the Nebraska Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission and the Nebraska State Bar Association for commitment to improving equal access to justice through this work. Spencer received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Evidence, Employee Benefits, and the Housing Justice Clinic.
Spencer obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas in 2020.
Spencer is a devoted fan of the Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs, loves to watch racing, and enjoys working on cars.
