John A. Maschman

John Maschman is an associate litigation attorney with Lamson Dugan & Murray’s West Des Moines Office. John was born and raised in Nebraska. He graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a degree in political science in 2010. Throughout high school and college, he participated in mock trial, qualifying for national tournaments and holding leadership positions. John graduated from law school at the University of Iowa in 2013. He received awards and recognition for his appellate advocacy and brief-writing skill. He has worked extensively in both the public and private sector, on both criminal and civil matters. He has clerked for over two dozen Iowa District Court judges throughout the State of Iowa. In his free time, John enjoys traveling and trying new cuisines with his wife Brianna (and occasionally sharing the leftovers with their dogs: Bernie and Millie).
