What is your definition of success?

Doing good work, being trusted with hard problems, and still being someone people want to work with the next day.

What's the most unique part about working at LDM?

The collegiality. People here are genuinely interested in each other’s work and lives, which makes the office feel less like a collection of individual practices and more like a shared enterprise.

What’s one thing — either industry-related or not — you learned in the last month?

I’ve learned more than I ever expected to know about transmission failure in a 2021 Ford Escape.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who is just starting their career?

Be useful before you try to be impressive. The impressive part usually follows.

What are you currently reading, binge-watching or listing to?

I’m in a heavy podcast rotation—Strict Scrutiny, Pod Save America, and many more. Apparently, my preferred genre is “smart people explaining why everything is on fire.”
