What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is a blend of personal growth, thoughtfully overcoming challenges, and finding a healthy balance between my profession and personal life.
What's the most unique part about working at LDM?
LDM provides a small firm feel with big firm resources and experience. The attorneys are genuinely invested in each other’s cases and steadfastly support one another.
What’s one thing — either industry-related or not — you learned in the last month?
I learned that people blink between 14,000 and 19,000 times per day. I was watching Frozen 2 with my daughter and Olaf was providing a series of “Did You Know” facts. Olaf said people blink 4 million times a day. After fact-checking this beloved Disney character, I found out people blink between 14,000 and 19,000 times per day, not 4 million.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who is just starting their career?
Be patient. Don’t get discouraged. Always put your best foot forward. Work hard. Ask questions. Start healthy habits early on.
What are you currently reading, binge-watching or listing to?
I love reading just about any genre on my Kindle and listening to books on Audible. I just discovered Audible this past year, and the newfound multi-tasking has been a game changer. I recently finished watching Peacemaker and started watching Abbott Elementary.
