Life at LDM | Attorney Spotlight, Peyton D. LaFerla

What is your definition of success?

Success to me means continually learning, improving, and being somebody that people can count on.

‍

What's the most unique part about working at LDM?

The most unique aspect of working at LDM is the emphasis on personal development, and the early exposure to and ownership of important work that young attorneys are entrusted with.

‍

What’s one thing — either industry-related or not — you learned in the last month?

One thing I've recently learned is that 90 degree days in October in Nebraska are not particularly unusual.

‍

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who is just starting their career?

To surround themselves with people they can learn from and that want to support them, to seek out work they are passionate about, and to realize that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth.

‍

What are you currently reading, binge-watching or listing to?

I am currently rewatching Harry Potter in preparation for the release of the Harry Potter TV series this winter.
