LDM Secures Summary Judgment for Nebraska Long-Term Care Facility
Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Michael Storey and Attorneys Olivia McDowell and Tevyn Waddell successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of a Nebraska long-term care facility.
The plaintiff alleged that the facility’s staff committed acts and omissions that led to the death of a former resident. The defense team successfully argued that the plaintiff failed to establish that the resident’s death was caused by the alleged conduct, resulting in the court granting summary judgment in favor of the defense.
The LDM defense team was led by Storey, with McDowell and Waddell providing key support throughout the litigation.
This outcome reflects LDM’s commitment to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based advocacy for its clients in complex healthcare and long-term care matters.
