LDM Delivers Clothing Donations to the Women’s Center for Advancement

This week, Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP delivered several large collections of donated clothing, shoes, and accessories to the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) — the result of a firmwide clothing drive organized by attorney Jocelyn Brasher.

The WCA provides critical resources and support for women and families experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and other challenges. As the seasons begin to change, LDM’s clothing drive aimed to provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to women and children in need across the Omaha community.

The initiative began earlier this month with an internal call to action encouraging employees to clean out their closets and give gently used items a new life. The response was overwhelming — particularly from the women of LDM — resulting in a large volume of donations including professional attire, coats, shoes, handbags, and accessories.

“It’s incredible to see how something as simple as a closet clean-out can turn into a meaningful act of care for others,” said Jocelyn Brasher. “The women and families supported by WCA deserve to feel safe, valued, and hopeful, and we’re grateful to play a small part in that.”

The clothing was delivered to the WCA this week, where it will directly support women and children seeking assistance as they work toward stability and independence.

LDM is proud to support the WCA’s mission and continues to encourage community involvement that helps strengthen and uplift those in need.
