Lamson Dugan & Murray Welcomes Christine F. Halbrook as Partner

Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP is pleased to welcome Christine F. Halbrook as a partner in the firm’s West Des Moines office.

Christine focuses her practice primarily on estate planning and corporate matters. Her approach emphasizes educating clients and taking the time to explain their options so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

A Des Moines native, Christine earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to Iowa to attend Drake University Law School, where she graduated with honors.

Christine brings significant experience in trusts and estates to LDM. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 2013 and was named Lawyer of the Year – Des Moines for Trusts and Estates in 2019. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a national organization of experienced trust and estate attorneys.  

She has also been actively involved with the Iowa State Bar Association’s Probate, Trust & Estate Planning Law Section, serving as a council member, chair and co-chair. The Iowa State Bar Association recognized her with its Outstanding Section Chair Award in both 2020 and 2022.  

Christine regularly speaks on estate planning, trust administration and related topics, including presentations for ACTEC, the Iowa State Bar Association and other professional programs.

Her practice at LDM includes wills, trusts, estates, corporate matters and nonprofit organizations.
