
Tyler K. Lyon
Tyler K. Lyon is an attorney at Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP, focusing his practice on litigation. He brings a practical, client-focused approach to his work, drawing on prior experience representing plaintiffs at a Chicago personal injury firm.
Tyler earned his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he concentrated in Litigation Studies. While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and was selected as a Schmid Research Fellow. He also gained hands-on legal experience as a student attorney with the Nebraska Innocence Clinic and the Nebraska Law First Amendment Clinic, and through a legal externship with the University of Nebraska Athletic Department’s Compliance Division.
Before law school, Tyler graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. During his undergraduate years, he was an active member of the mock trial team and participated in intramural athletics.
Outside the office, Tyler is a devoted Chicago sports fan, especially of the Cubs and Bears, and enjoys traveling, staying active, and competing in soccer and volleyball.
