John Walker is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. His practice spans a broad spectrum, representing individuals and corporations in trust, estate & tax litigation, business dissolutions, commercial disputes, as well as environmental, occupational and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Walker’s practice also encompasses, and he is uniquely suited to handle, personal injury claims for individuals injured through the fault of another. He has spent almost 20 years representing insurance companies in the defense of such claims, allowing him to offer a unique perspective as he has jury trial experience representing both injured individuals and insurance companies.
In his years of practice, Mr. Walker has also handled a wide range of commercial and insurance defense matters, including professional defense and product liability claims. He has handled significant multi-million roof and storm damage claims of all types including those involving residential, industrial, and commercial properties.
Mr. Walker received his law degree from Creighton University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While attending Creighton, Mr. Walker was a member of the Creighton Law Review, the International Moot Court Board, and Law Ambassadors. Mr. Walker also participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademarks Competition, the Client Counseling Competition, the ATLA trial competition, and the International Moot Court Competition, in which he advanced to the final round.
Outside the office, John enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also coaches various youth sports and is an avid runner.
