John M. Walker
John Walker is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he represents individuals and corporations in trust, estate, and tax litigation, business dissolutions, commercial disputes, and personal injury matters. With over 20 years of litigation experience, John brings a well-rounded perspective to his practice, having represented both injured individuals and insurance companies in jury trials.
John also handles complex commercial dispute and insurance defense matters, including business dissolutions, professional liability defense, product liability lawsuits, wrongful death claims, and multi-million-dollar roof and storm damage disputes. His experience on both sides of the courtroom allows him to anticipate risks, evaluate cases strategically, and advocate effectively for his clients.
A magna cum laude graduate of Creighton University, John was actively involved in moot court competitions during law school. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, coaching youth sports, and running.

Represented the Defendant insurance agent in the successful defense of a claim involving allegations that the agent failed to procure the requested insurance.
Assisted in representing the Defendant-employer in the successful defense of a lawsuit brought by an employee allegedly assaulted by coworkers.
Assisted in representing the Defendant-insurer in the successful defense of a claim involving material misrepresentations on a life insurance policy.
Secured defense verdict in professional negligence case regarding alleged failure to diagnose.
Obtained a successful verdict, affirmed on appeal, with a finding that the adverse parties’ lawsuit was frivolous, thereby resulting in an award of attorney’s fees in our client’s favor.
Successful representation of non-profit entities and other property owners in sales and use tax and property tax valuation and exemption litigation.
Obtained numerous successful rulings in life insurance arbitrations.
Obtained a Defendant’s verdict in the defense of a water rights case involving allegations of private nuisance and claims of a prescriptive easement.
