
Ellen K. Geisler
Ellen Geisler is a partner in the litigation department at Lamson Dugan &Murray, and her practice focuses on commercial litigation representing businesses and individuals in contract, intellectual property, and employment-related disputes. As outside counsel for medium to large-sized businesses, Ellen and her team can provide the resources and expertise to prosecute and defend contentious litigation in Nebraska and Iowa.
Ellen is passionate about helping her clients work through, and solve, their problems. Strategizing regarding the right approach to litigation and exploring alternate methods to resolution are at the forefront of Ellen's approach to no-nonsense client counseling. When early resolution is not possible, she is a sharp and dedicated advocate in the courtroom. Her poise and professionalism match the zeal she has for protecting and advocating for her clients' interests.
Ellen is licensed in both Nebraska and Iowa as well as the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Ellen has both trial and appellate experience, including oral argument before the Eighth Circuit. She graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. During law school, she served as a member of the Nebraska Law Review and as an officer for the Nebraska Moot Court Board.
