David A. Changstrom
David Changstrom is a partner in the litigation department at Lamson Dugan & Murray. His primary clients are individuals and businesses embroiled in complex commercial, real estate, or trust and estate planning disputes. David enjoys working with clients to develop strategic and practical solutions at every stage of a case, and threads each representation with counseling on risks, leverage, and the commercial consequences of the client’s or an adversary’s actions.
David also devotes a significant portion of his practice to the representation of clients that find themselves in civil actions adverse to government entities—including private citizens, businesses, and student organizations such as fraternities and sororities.
Before law school, David earned his law degree from Creighton University School of Law, where he contributed to the Creighton Law Review, served on the Moot Court Board, and earned CALI Excellence Awards in Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure. After law school, David clerked for Judge Gary A. Fenner in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. He holds a B.S. in Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Outside the office, he enjoys supporting the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and spending time with his wife, Lisa, two kids, and two dogs.
