Karson Kampfe is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Before joining Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP, Mr. Kampfe served as a judicial law clerk for two years to the Honorable Jeffrey J. Funke of the Nebraska Supreme Court. Prior to law school, Mr. Kampfe interned for U.S. Senator Ben Nelson and was the Omaha Metro Director for U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey’s 2012 campaign.
Mr. Kampfe earned his J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. At law school, Mr. Kampfe was an editor for the Ohio State Law Journal (Law Review) and had his note selected for publication. He completed his final year as a visiting student at the University of Nebraska Law School. Mr. Kampfe received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Election Law, at Ohio State, and Evidence, at the Creighton University School of Law (Summer 2014). Mr. Kampfe received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of South Dakota, where he majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science.
In his free time, Karson enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and competing in triathlons.
