Ms. Simpson is an associate of the Firm's Litigation Department. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Political Science. While attending the University of Nebraska, Ms. Simpson was a member of the University Honors Program, served as an intern for a United States Congressman, and worked as staff on a U.S. Senate campaign. In 2004, she received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case Western Reserve, she served as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Nancy A. Vecchiarelli of the Northern District of Ohio, an intern for the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General, Coordinator of the Niagara Moot Court Team and participated in Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Cleveland's "Big Buddies" program. Prior to joining Lamson, Dugan and Murray in 2009, Ms. Simpson served as the Manager of Regulatory Compliance for Coventry Health Care, where she oversaw administrative appeals, advertising review and fraud investigations; tracked pending legislation; coordinated responses to Department of Insurance inquiries; and drafted producer, provider and policyholder agreements.
