Mr. Chesire is a partner of Lamson, Dugan and Murray and Chairman of the Tort Litigation Practice Group. He has over 33 years of courtroom experience in defense of personal injury claims and product liability claims. Mr. Chesire’s practice also encompasses general liability claims, insurance coverage issues, and defense of attorneys and healthcare professionals.

As Chairman of the Tort Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Chesire coordinates regular meetings with the Group’s eight attorneys and four legal assistants discussing developments in tort law and continuing legal education strategies.

Mr. Chesire graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1969 with a Liberal Arts degree with a major in Philosophy. He served in the United States Army from 1971 through 1973 in Germany. He earned his J.D. degree with honors from Creighton University in 1976. He was a member of the Moot Court Board and the National Moot Court Team. He is currently a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and practices in the Federal Courts in Nebraska and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. In addition, he has tried product liability cases in Iowa. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Defense Council Association of Nebraska, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and has been an active member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Council since 1990. He serves on the Product Liability and Insurance Coverage Sections of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Council and is the State representative for Nebraska. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in March of 2008.
