Mr. Brislen is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department.

Mr. Brislen received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1997 before attending and graduating cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in 2001. While attending Creighton, Mr. Brislen was active in numerous associations and competitions, a highlight of which was winning the 2001 ABA National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy competition in Chicago, Illinois. Also, in the spring of 2001, Mr. Brislen was a member of the Supreme Court seminar co-taught by Professor G. Michael Fenner and United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas.

Having joined the Firm’s Litigation Department in the fall of 2001, Mr. Brislen focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation, tort liability claims and regulatory/administrative law. He tries jury and non-jury matters on the federal, state and administrative levels and handles state and federal appeals. He also participates with clients in formal and informal alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Mr. Brislen currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Creighton University School of Law having taught Legal Writing and Lawyering Skills to first and second year law students from 2002 to 2007 and Trial Practice to third year law students from 2006 to present. He has also enjoyed coaching and judging high school mock trial teams in addition to regularly judging local and regional mock trial and appellate advocacy competitions for law students.
