Kyle Wallor, a Partner in our Litigation Department, successfully secured a summary judgment in excess of $5,800,000 in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  The client initiated suit asserting breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, conversion, money had and received, an action for an accounting and piercing the corporate veil against a vendor.  The vendor contested all claims, largely on the basis this was nothing more than a general debt.  The Court granted summary judgment in the client’s favor on the claims of breach of fiduciary duty, conversion and an accounting.
